General info

When creating an event, both the start time (date and time) and the end time (date and time) are specified.

Once an event has been published, the start and end times can only be changed using the “Move event” option.

To reschedule an event, please proceed as follows:

  1. Please click in the main menue (letf) on “Events”
  2. Click on the “Active Events”
  3. Click on the event you want to move
  4. Click on the “Events”
  5. Click the “Move event” button in the Event info (start and end) section

To help hosts handle rescheduling, the host has two rescheduling options:

  1. Move with Eventjet support
  2. Move without Eventjet support (not recommended)

Shift an event with Eventjet support

If an event is postponed by the organizer with Eventjet support, the affected event will be assigned a new start/end time.

  • The event retains its identity and all parameters already saved, such as ticket categories, limits, sale periods for ticket categories, etc.
  • All tickets purchased up to the postponement remain valid.
  • Tickets purchased from the time of the postponement already include the new start/end time.
  • The event will be billed and the ticket proceeds will be paid out with the new end date.
  • All guests who have purchased online tickets will be automatically informed of the postponement by e-mail and will receive a refund link in the same e-mail.
  • Guests who cannot/do not want to attend the new date can use this refund link to apply for a refund of the purchase price.
  • Whether the buyers will receive the full purchase price or a reduced refund price will be determined by the organizer during the course of the event shift.
  • The purchase price will be refunded to the channel that was used for the purchase.
      • Credit card transactions will be refunded to the credit card account.
      • Sofortüberweisung and EPS will be refunded to the bank account.
      • Paypal will be refunded to the PayPal account.
      • etc

Shift an event without Eventjet support

If an event is postponed by the organizer without Eventjet support (not recommended), a new start/end time will be assigned to the affected event.

  • The event retains its identity and all parameters already saved, such as ticket categories, limits, sale periods for ticket categories, etc. are retained.
  • All tickets purchased up to the postponement remain valid
  • Tickets purchased from the time of the postponement already include the new start/end time
  • The ticket revenues will be payed out to the organizer according to the new end date
  • Eventjet does not communicate with the guests at all
  • The organizer is obliged to inform the guests immediately of the postponement
  • The organizer is obliged to make any refunds to the ticket buyers himself and without delay
