What are the fees?

Basically, there are no fixed costs associated with the use of Eventjet. Both the opening of the Eventjet account and the ongoing operation is free.

Depending on the pricing model, system usage will incur low fees per ticket sold.

Fees for purchase tickets depending on the price model

  • Eventjet “Economy” € 0.50 * + 2.6% (including payment processing)
  • Eventjet “Business” € 0.75  * + 3.3% (including payment processing)
  • Eventjet “First Class” conditions depending on individual agreement

* Prices quoted are exclusive of 20% VAT

Most organizers pass on these fees to the ticket purchaser. In this case, the use of Eventjet is completely free of charge for you as host.


Who bears the fees?

The resulting fees can either be taken over by the host or charged to the guest. This selection can be made via the charge settings.

When charging the guest, you also decide whether the fee should be included in the ticket price or displayed extra to the ticket price. You can make this selection in the “charge settings”.

If the fee is charged to the guest, the use of Eventjet for the host is 100% free.


Fee settings

As the host, you decide who should pay for each ticket sold. See “Who bears the fees”. For this selection to be used, you have two options for setting fees.

1. General fee setting for the entire account

The general fee setting can be set when you create your account in the menu “Finance” => “Fees”. This general setting applies in principle to any newly created event and can be changed at any time.

2. Fee adjustment for individual events

If a new event has been recreated, the general charge settings (see 1. General charge settings for the entire account) will be automatically applied.

These settings can also be adjusted for already created events. This adjustment takes place in the advanced settings “Options” of the respective event.

To change these settings in the event, proceed as follows:

  • In the main menu (left) click on the menu item “Events”
  • Click on the event where the fee setting should be changed
  • Select the “Options” tab
  • Activate the switch “Change expense allocation”
  • Select desired expense distribution
  • Save Changes

Are there any other costs?

Basically, there are no fixed costs associated with the use of Eventjet. Both the opening of the Eventjet account and the ongoing operation is free.

Depending on the pricing model, system usage may incur low fees per ticket sold (see “What are the applicable fees?)

Additional costs may be incurred if services are ordered by the host and these are not shown in the selected pricing model.

Examples of this can be:

  • The rental of hardware
  • Special programming (customizing)
  • Creation of seatmaps
  • Individual customer support
  • Trainings and courses
  • Prepayments
  • Reversal of events
